In this section I’ve compiled all of the stories that show off my…unique? sense of humor. The point of these stories is to make you laugh, some of them carry some heavy life lessons (because learning is fun!) as well as some really insane scenarios. But, I hope you enjoy them, let me know in the comments what you think and have an awesome day! A laugh a day keeps the doctor away, too many laughs and you’ll be sent to a different type of doctor, so…proceed with caution maybe?
These are the Hank stories. And I know what you’re thinking – “D.e.e.L, you already have a section of your blog made for this.” and now you’re thinking “Holy cow he can read minds!” I’m a man of many talents…or at least a couple. These stories started off as something at my old job to bring in each week and relate to different people each week that worked there. One character however has always been constant in each story, and that’s the character of Hank. Since Leaving that place of work and wanting to continue these stories Hank has become an even more dominate figure in the tales and going on some crazy adventures (not that they were ever not crazy).
Below are other funny stories I’ve posted over the years to my tumblr. Simple stories like a man going through life without knowing the number twelve, because, that would suck right? There’s a story that serves as a warning to bringing soup on a picnic as well as stories about the old west and a man with a sword. Like I said, or rather wrote earlier, I hope you enjoy these stories and can laugh through your day. I know life isn’t without its stress, but it doesn’t have to be without its laughter.
Blue vs. Green
A cool breeze separated the opposing sides. Each team tightly knit around their colored flags. The leader of the blue team shouted “Who’s Dave?” and the green team leader shouted back “The sign says ‘Can we start yet?’”. There was silence on the field. “Oh,” said the blue team leader, “I can’t read.” And then it began.
They battered one another for what felt likes hours within the few minutes the competition lasted. The cool breeze filled with the blue and green dressed men attempting to strike each other, but most often missing and whiffing through the air. The sun was out, and it was November, and nobody knew what day of the week it was, so maybe it was Tuesday.
At the competition’s end only a few were left still standing. “Did we win?” asked the blue team leader. “The sign says ‘We won’,” said the green team leader. “I really should learn how to read.”
